Central Aim

to check the possibility of changing the different engines, machines and vehicles of a municipality to renewable energies.

Project Description

The overwhelming majority of municipalities in Europe use gas and diesel engines, from the "leaves blower" in the parks, the construction engines and the cleaning vehicles up to the large trucks for construction or waste collecting. Above that almost nowhere is a plan how to substitute them to electric, hydrogen or other energy sources. The small example of the noisy "leaves blowers" may demonstrate that an electric small truck having a mobile charging point may ensure electric ppossibilities even in parks, or Bio-NAtural  gas driven road constructions vehicles or trucks may change teh carbon footprint of the cities very effective.

Envisaged Output

With a European approach a huge best practice output can help the cities in their transition to better engines, machines and vehicles in their stock.

What is the need for this project?

Different cities and municipalities, manufacturers of such vehicles and machines.

Partners Found Already

For Germany, Rinteln as a small city and Braunschweig or Wolfsburg as a large city. Knowing several other cities in the NSR area who could be interested.
