Establishing a sustainable and environmental-friendly way of sea-and coastal transport conditions by lowering emissions by lowering fuel demend by using windpower for propulsion
the base-version of the ship sees a 70m, two-masted, shooner with a sail area of ~ 1.600m° , main engine of ~1.200BHP(LNG-based). Sailsmanagement will be operated by fully-hydraulic systems mainly feeded by electric/hydraulic-storage. A load-capacity of min. 42TEU(or similar) can be handled by a 30-ton vangless loading gear. Under classification of DNV/GL for complete european sea areas (´middle trip`) makes a crew of max 10 neccessary. Beside the transport tasks there are several sort of (offshore-)supply features planned : ship-to-ship- , ship-to-shore supply of fuel, potable water, wastewater etc., buoy services, staff transport. Dependig on the opertion area and customers demand the size of the ship can also be bigger
modern technical equipment combined with conventional using the wind power for propulsion by sails enables us to reduce the environmental impact of fossile fuel under 50% ( even lowers it to 0 in phases of pure sailing ) Reasonable operating-organization in the backround will allowe operation times 24/7 app. 350 days a year. The own loading and operation equipments makes us endependent from services ashore.
